Sarasota Magazine has been celebrating the best of this beautiful and vibrant region with readers, advertisers and the community for three decades, and 2009 officially marks the magazine's 30th anniversary.

To kickoff the yearlong celebration, Sarasota Magazine has launched a special keepsake anniversary issue, available on newsstands throughout January.

In this issue, we look at some of the critical turning points and people in the last three decades.
